The Story Behind the Mission
Every story has shaped the person, the leader, and the mission that drives me today.
EARLY YEARS & MY BACKGROUND
Where It All Began
I grew up on a dairy farm in Helena, Alabama, where hard work wasn’t something we talked about—it was simply part of life. From starting a small landscaping business as a kid to working in my dad’s pharmacy, an AIDS research lab at UAB, and even a car wash during dental school, I learned early that no job was beneath me and every experience had something to teach me.
Those early lessons laid the foundation for everything I would build later in life.

Why I Do What I Do
Dentistry gave me the opportunity to change lives one patient at a time. Entrepreneurship showed me how to multiply that impact—by building businesses, developing people, creating opportunities, and sharing what I’ve learned with others.
Purpose Through Dentistry
Dentistry taught me that meaningful work is about more than what you do—it’s about how your skills can improve someone else’s life. It became one of the first places I discovered the fulfillment that comes from serving, creating, and making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
